Prós

Working for a small company has a lot of pros. Everyone is super nice and helpful, I can work from the office or from home, there are always great snacks and drinks, and lunch is provided often, especially when things are busy. Work is hard sometimes, but the managers will work to find things that I like to work on when they can. Everyday is different.

Contras

There are busy seasons and it can be stressful. Some managers are better than others.

Healthcare. That is literally about it.

Working here means navigating an incredibly toxic environment where executive and senior leadership talk down to adult employees like children, gossip about staff behind their backs, and actively foster a culture of gaslighting. There is zero clear direction for the work they want completed, yet management will aggressively blame you and treat you like the problem the moment their own lack of planning causes a project to stall. Promotions are entirely unfair and arbitrary. Even worse, this is a deeply unsafe environment for marginalized individuals; racist and sexist remarks from senior leadership are swept under the rug with no consequences, valid ADA accommodation submissions are ignored, and management routinely pits marginalized employees against each other. The toxicity isn’t just internal, either; leadership regularly talks trash about the very clients, partners, and communities they serve. For a company whose entire branding is built on engagement, trust, and community, the hypocrisy is staggering. They do a terrible job of building trust internally and show utter contempt for their partners externally.
