Traveling the country and seeing the beauty of it but that is absolutely it.
Contras
- Daily per diem is only $25 - Higher ups are not involved - very disconnected. Don’t even stop to say hi to employees if they actually show up to an event. - Months away from family and home - No appreciation or caring - Provided PTO that you can’t ever use. They take 8 hours of that per week in the “off season”. It is use it or lose it - essentially a useless benefit given they don’t allow you to use it. - Work in mold filled trailers that needed replaced 10 years ago. Instead they keep putting bandaids on it only for it to break down the next night going down the road. - Major lack of communication. Phone calls, emails, texts go unanswered by those in management.
