This company has actually been around since 2006 - but it saw most of its explosive growth in Asia and Europe. The US office was created to bring a 'Silicon Valley' perspective to the company's overall product and growth strategies. It is working -- Maxthon's core products are growing explosively in all of their markets. Some big deals have been announced and from I know from former colleagues still there, more are coming. You do need to be able to work in SF -- hence my exit. :( The whole team is really fun, hard working and supportive of each other. Senior management cares about professional development and is very transparent about where the company is heading and the challenges to be overcome to get there. In my time there I felt good about trusting their collective experience: which goes deep in traditional software, web apps, mobile apps, business development and product marketing. The C-level management is great about letting you try things, assessing their ROI and then either doing more of what works or trying something else. Work life balance is pretty good. You have to be self-directed. While the management is pretty good about helping you develop along your own path, they are not hand-holders and bristle at having to micro-manage. So...you better be self-directed and creative. (It also helps to be an auto-didact,)

Compensation is more B, B+ level than A. And schedule-wise you'll have a fairly steady bunch of evening conference calls with the overseas offices. That is part of being a global company. There can be cultural differences with some of the overseas offices -- especially China. If you're a patient sort you'll have no issues. And, that is also part of the fun.
