Made amazing tips, and was always able to pick up shifts in need be.
Contras
Managers are absolutely horrid to employees. You are very under valued and treated as replaceable. Very hard to get a manager to accept time off so if you are a student or have kids, good luck. If you work a double, you only get a 30 minute break, basically having to spend money at the restaurant on food if you want to eat. theres no break room or even a place for you to put your lunch. Managers eat free when they work long shifts but servers have to pay for food even with a 20% discount it adds up.
