Strong peer-level talent across teams — you're constantly learning from people around you. Good autonomy once you've established trust. The shift toward AI-first workflows is real and exciting if you're someone who wants to be at the frontier.

Contras

The pace can be brutal — context-switching is the default, not the exception. Headcount is lean, so you're often doing more than your job description. Promotion timelines can feel opaque if you're not actively managing up. Documentation and process maturity varies a lot by team. May not be con to all, i.e Me, but setting realistic expectations here.

the grind teaches you a lot about sales and how to work hard.

Contras

Keep increasing KPI's and quota to an unattainable level and then wonder why people are getting burnt out and dropping like flies. Upper management is so far removed from the work the SDR's actually do and what actually works for us and they think increasing numbers will motivate us more. Sad situation. It's a grind to even get near quota. They also lie about wanting to promote from within, it is completely out of reach and they dangle it in people's faces so don't believe them when they tell you that in interviews.
