-Horrific management. Management is done by AES, who are US based but also have large operations on Europe. Some managers are Europe based and manage remotely. The worst manager I have ever encountered in my career, Europe based, and had no clue about how the UK market functions. Targets were given despite employees being unable to fulfill due to covid 19 restrictions and no regard is given for staff health and safety either,  so long as you meet your targets. I was ambushed on a call alongside HR with no prior notification , and was told by my "Manager",word for word  that "if I do not meet the objectives given, I will terminate your contract". Upon hearing this I was in shock and was clearly upset and I had been given no notice that I was apparently underperforming. I have never encountered such a horrible company who have no compassion, no positive work ethos or even help towards employee progression. Current directors/senior directors have been promoted despite making gross errors, from poor management and ridiculous incompetence, leading the staff to pick up the weight. Management are quick to promote each other and expect everyone else to fulfil unfair and unrealistic targets. -Toxic environment,  toxic culture and no way to progress.
