I recently had a disheartening experience with 120Water. After a seemingly promising interview process, I was informed by the company that I was the top candidate for a position I had applied for. They requested that I patiently wait for the final approval, and I eagerly did so. However, after a long two-month wait, I was told that I did not get the job after all. Throughout those two months, I had kept my hopes high, turned down other opportunities, and eagerly anticipated joining 120Water. The communication from the company was minimal during this time, which only added to my anxiety and uncertainty. When I finally received the rejection email, it lacked any substantive feedback or explanation as to why I was no longer being considered for the position. This left me with a profound sense of frustration and a feeling of having been misled. I understand that the job market can be competitive, and companies may need time to make decisions. However, the way 120Water handled this situation was unprofessional and inconsiderate. To label someone as the top candidate and then retract that offer without a reasonable explanation is not only discourteous but also reflects poorly on the company's values and commitment to its prospective employees. My experience with their organization has left me with a negative impression of their hiring process and their respect for candidates' time and emotions. I hope they take this feedback to heart and consider improving their communication and candidate management in the future.
