2018 - I got call from recruiter that your profile is matching the requirement. He set up discussion with a director. The director did not joined the meeting. Tried reaching recruiter he tried to schedule call. Again the director did not join the call. He pinged me in skype for different slot. I gave few slots. He picked up a slot, then also he did not join. Followed with the recruiter. The recruiter chose not to respond to my mails or calls. Most disgraceful experience.
2019- The same recruiter contacted me (he remembered me) and explained the role and will send my profile for screening. Post screening scheduled discussion.
I had 3 rounds with easy to medium in difficulty. I have white boards designs and few algos which i coded in the first shot only. 2 to 3 system design questions which i was able to comfortably explain with very minimal interference.
Finally after two days recruiter called and informed that they are looking for people with different skills.
Surprised why people spend 5 hours of time three rounds of interview with even screening the profile.
They mostly work on Dot net based applications and SQL Server is their DB. Be prepared to work on those technologies for which i said strict no.
Only positive - This time the recruiter got back to me with a response.
