Applied online and talent acquisition called for a phone screening not long after. Answered basic questions about myself and told me next steps. A week later I had a video interview with two management individuals. One person was likable, interested in learning more about me and my achievements. The other person was completely disinterested, busy doing other things in the background and at times looked like he could barely keep his eyes open. This person maybe muttered two to three words. I remained optimistic leaving the interview and was emailed by HR that positive feedback was received that they would like to move forward with the interview process. A couple days later I video interviewed with a Director. The interview was something I have truly never experienced. From the foul language and expressing the struggles about their personal life, I felt as more of a therapist than an interviewee. I did like the fact this individual was blunt on what I was lacking in requirements for this position. At the end of this interview I did remain hopeful as he wanted to move forward with me (setting false hopes on receiving an offer). At this point, I assumed the interviewing process was complete and awaited to hear from HR. A few days went by when I received a request for yet another "final" video interview request with a Sr. Director. In this interview the person I met with did not seem to have much of an interest in me. Answered basic questions about my experience, hobbies, achievements, pretty much everything the other two interviews asked. Very monotone, checked out type feel. No offer was gave but I don't know even if offered I would have accepted. Abacus seems to have great talent, but the interview process was quite extensive and time consuming. On top of that burn out was definitely felt amongst the interviewers.
