Muito demorado, RH confuso. A recrutadora era bem legal mas um pouco enrolada. Ela demorou para passar meu perfil para o gestor e para me dar o feedback.

Met them at a career fair and applied online, got an interview fairly soon after. 3 back-to-back 30 minute interviews on campus the following week. Pretty basic behavioral questions, usually what you expect from big corporations like this.

Screening with the recruiter, followed by a half day of 6 round interviews with managers, directors, peers, and VP. Mostly behavioral and writing capabilities questions. Overall. very well planned and efficient process.

Entrevista

The overall interview process is pretty standard for research scientist position. A seminar followed by team member interview. The timeline is a little bit long (think > 2 month) to get the results due to some internal issue related to this position. Abbvie HR internal recruiter (based in Worcester) I work with is not experienced and lacks some people skills. For instance, she appears to be quite inflexible and condescending when conversing from my personal experience. She also clearly did not read through my resume when interviewing me and made some mistakes in recalling my profile when extending the offer. The compensation package is not competitive compared to the market. She lies that the Abbvie do not negotiate offer when I knew it was false. In the end, I had to give up the position due to the lackluster offer and the bad experience from HR. Final word, if you want to get a good package, you need to switch COMPANY.

I was invited to apply for the sophomore externship. After 2 interviews I attended the 3 day event. This was followed by an interview with 2 professionals from the marketing division. I heard 2 weeks that I received an offer.
