Standard first couple of conversations with the recruiter and hiring manager. Then I was asked to do a case study. I've done several of these types of presentations in my career, but I've never been asked to concept a whole campaign (and actually write a few of the deliverables within it) for a "hypothetical" upcoming trade show—completely uncompensated. I went ahead and did it anyway, only to receive what reads like a canned email of rejection afterward. It was a lot of speculative work to ask for with very little curtesy in return.
Had a screening interview that was cancelled and rescheduled three times. Met with the hiring manager, who was nice and asked good questions relevant to the listing. Then they scheduled me for a case study, which included creating a content plan, writing a blog post, and creating a few OOH ads. Then the case study was meant to be presented, but the links in the case study document did not work, and I could not convince anyone to help me get access to them. I'm ot sure why. The interview was then cancelled and I was told it would be rescheduled as they tried to figure out what was going on and I never heard back
