Personality Assessment/ Video interview (recording) You have to go through a online assessment (not numerical/logical IQ tests) and record a few minute video on tell me about yourself type of questions 2. On-site HR interview (2 people, Associate/Manager from recruitment team) They ask you questions based on your CV. What they want to hear is the reasons for your decision like school, major, previous internship, etc. Then why alphasight, why this role, why you are a good fit questions. 3. Case Study presentation and follow up questions+ Manager interview if you have made through the HR, then you will be receiving an email with case attached. you will have to do a presentation to the interviewers. 4. Managing Director interview Very difficult stage. MD will want to know every single thing about you basically starting from your birth to how you ended up applying to alphasights. you have to be concise and give him the right answers.

I went through 2 rounds of interviews before deciding myself not to move on after the second. The first one was a standard behavioral one, recorded before a screen (might've changed due to the pandemic). The second one consisted of two parts: the first a role play, where I was assigned a case and asked to look for industry experts to answer a question for a made-up client, the second a standard behavioral interview.
