Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Amazon (Nashville, TN) em jan. de 2021
Entrevista
Amazon interviewing was a really good experience. Not for the faint of heart because it was definitely in depth, but it was clear and communicated well. I was prepared by my recruiter for what to do and how to prep myself, and I felt ready to have the 3 back-to-back interviews.

Tell me about a time that you were unable to accomplish a project in the deadline set? What did you do?

The interview process was extremely unorganized. I was thrown around between four different recruiters. About two weeks after my phone interview, a virtual panel interview was requested. They then sent a confirmation email for a five hour interview with only a three day notice. I replied and said that I needed a 10 day notice to give my current employer in order to take PTO. I then provided my availability saying that I was available any day with the 10 day notice. I did not receive any information for a week and then I was sent another confirmation for a Monday, and it was already Friday. I copied and pasted my previous email for the recruiter to refer to and I got an automated response that said they will schedule it again. A couple of days later I received an email from one of the recruiters saying that the position was now closed. If the recruiters had originally informed me that it would be a five hour interview or paid attention to my availability email that they asked for, I would have been able to do the final interview. Very unprofessional.

Amazon puts you through a rigorous interview process. The first part is a phone screen and it was one of the hardest phone screens I ever had. Once you pass the phone interview I was told I made it to the face to face interview. Three interviews back to back at 45-60 minutes each
The recruiter will reach out to coach you before your in person interview.
I studied for this interview like no other, but that really doesn't matter when you realize the company is not diverse. I previously worked a pt seasonal job at Amazon as a sorter in a warehouse. I was practically hired on the spot with no interview whatsoever. If you can pass the background check and drug test your in. I saw diversity everywhere from race to age.
Going into the corporate arena however was a totally different experience. During my visit I saw 2 people of color. The check in person and security and that's it!
All 3 managers that interviewed me were white men and I was surprised. Especially since the warehouse was so diverse! I even asked in the interview how was diversity at Amazon? I was told quote "Well to be honest the company was started by 2 white guys, but it's gotten better"
Of course I didn't get the job and to top it all off Amazon is a no feedback company. This means you have no clue why you were denied. So maybe my interview was bad, maybe they didn't like my shirt, who knows? From my visit to the Nashville office it was made perfectly clear why I didn't get the role. If your looking to work for Amazon corporate and your of color forget it. However, if you want to work in a hot warehouse doing manual labor your guaranteed to the job!
