Had to reschedule the first round with a sourcer role, it was not a good experience since the sourcer didn’t know how to conduct interviews and was asking questions from thin air. Companies should be mindful of who they put in the process to lead the interview, it’s a waste of time to connect with someone who comes off as no prepared and goes by the books without humanizing the experience and being authentic is rough.

Entrevista
The interview process at Anaplan was structured, transparent, and very friendly. I had multiple rounds focusing on program management fundamentals, stakeholder communication, and real-world scenario questions. Everyone I spoke with was warm, supportive, and genuinely interested in understanding my experience and working style. The recruiter kept me updated at every step, and the overall process felt smooth and professional.

Entrevista
I worked with the recruiter, Tracy, who was wonderful. She first asked me to respond to a few questions in writing. Based on that response she setup a phone interview. We had a great conversation. She asked questions about my experience based on the job description. She also shared information about Anaplan and the PM role to give me a better understanding. If her energy and positivity are a reflection of the culture at Anaplan, I definitely want to work there. The position that I had applied for was not a good fit for me. Tracy stayed in touch with me while she looked for roles that would be a better fit. I haven't seen other recruiters who have invested that much time with me when we both knew this was not the right role for me.

I was asked to respond to a few questions in writing first. I have not experienced that before. This role requires quite a bit of written communication and they want to ensure that the candidates have effective writing skills before moving forward with a phone interview.
