Pretty extensive and grueling interview process for such a small start up company. They asked me to write a complete backend program in python. Once it was completed I then had a code review interview of my project, then a pair programming interview which both went well. It all came down to my interview with the CTO, who by all accounts was not impressive in any way and really was disconcerting to see how this company is run. The CTO and I really just did not see eye, to eye, and he seemed very unfriendly and just grilling me about the tiniest aspects of my experience. He wanted to ask a hypothetical integration question and he didn't even know the answer. I was inclined to think that the CTO doesn't have the techincal chops to get the job done. Thats why the company is not scaling or growing. Avoid this company 100% as they are not built out enough, or respectul enough by modern day practices of hiring to be worth your time to make a career move to. Also after the CTO call, recruiter ghosted me for two weeks. I would never recommend this company to any one of my colleagues as it is not healthy to make a move to a company that is this disorganized and toxic. 1/5 rating.
