This is not marketing - this is sales, I don't know why these people waste their time with false advertising. The interview was easy, could tell they were just trying to get as many people as possible onboard

Went for my interview a few months ago and still feel disgusted with the company and the process every time I think about it.
! THIS COMPANY ISNT EVENT MANAGEMENT / MARKETING ! it’s just sales - standing for hours on end in shopping malls badgering customers to sign their stuff. Oh, and it’s commission only so you barely get paid.
Cyril, the CEO interviewing me, was really weird and kept pressuring me and calling me a bad team player to cancel my next day plans so I could come stand for hours watching their staff harass customers. He literally wouldn’t take no for an answer and he came across as quite creepy and demanding, saying “This shows you’re bad at prioritising and that you’re not dedicated.” Like.....you’re telling me to cancel plans a day in advance...the world doesn’t revolve around your pyramid scheme hun....
They also play mind tactics with you, saying “Very few people get hired” and “you’re special for making this far” - get real, everyone was hired that day because the company has such a high turnover rate. Bad hours, bad pay, and false job advertising. No wonder they’re playing these stupid mind games to trick people into working there.
Also, one of the employees during my ‘trial shift’ (standing next to them and watching them harass people) kept making inappropriate comments about my body and dating life and ended up asking for my phone number. I declined, obviously.

They use the term marketing assistant very loosely - no marketing at all involved, it was just essentially door to door sales but in a shopping centre. I was made to stand for hours in a shopping centre and stare at them harass customers on the way in under the reassurance it was ‘direct marketing’. Wasn’t even told we would be travelling (made to get into the car of a random employee to drive me there) so had to pay quite a bit to get back. Very cult-like company and misleading title.
I was never told how many rounds/ what the whole selection process was like, and the boss/hiring person of the company actually got mad and annoyed when he asked
if I could come in the next day for another round of interviews (giving me less than 24 hours notice). When I said I had other prior commitments he got mad and started going on about this shows bad prioritisation blah blah when nothing was made clear and you need way more than 24 hours notice.
