I went through three interviews with the department I was going to work with had I gotten the position. The last interview was with with a employee outside of the department who unnecessarily asked me about my old job. He use to work at my previous employer. When he told me he worked at my old job, that is when I knew I wouldn't get a call back. Not because I did anything wrong, it was the stigma behind the department I use to work in at my old job. Long story short, he didn't want a peasant like me working at this company.
