Entrevista
First was an informal discussion about the role and the vision for Aspermont. This was very compelling as while some of the elements of Aspermont look a little old school it is rapidly changing to a leading media-tech and data business in its chosen space.
There were then three interview stages. The first was a more formal interview with HR and MD (who I'd report to). This established basic fit with the role from my experience, a discussion about what I was looking for and the expectations of the role.
The second interview was wider with more members of the leadership team. This was split into two so that I was interviewing with one half of the team to start and then the second half. This made it less daunting and the team was very friendly. Each asked questions from their areas of expertise points of view and were open in answering questions.
Finally there was a formal presentation based on 5 core questions to the team and chairman. This was in person and I felt able to project my own thoughts on how I would approach things. It was thorough and made me confident around the calibre of the team I would be joining.
