Candidatei-me por meio de uma agência de recrutamento. O processo levou 1 semana. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Aviva (Galway).
Entrevista
My interview was carried out over the phone. It was scheduled for 2pm but didn't receive the call until around 3pm. The interviewer knew she was late and I felt she rushed the questions with me. Typical, textbook interview questions. They want you to use the STAR method when answering.
About a week later I received an email saying I didn't have the experience to match their requirements. Strange considering I've worked as a customer advisor for large companies like Cadbury over the years.

Give an example of a time when you had to say no to a customer.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 dias. Fui entrevistado pela Aviva em mar. de 2025
Entrevista
2 interviewers in the call. They ask some general questions a bit about your background and what you're interested in. Then they do a role play of a call and you have to pretend to help someone take out money from their pension. Then they ask 7 strength-based questions.
Whether you get the job or not, they give you feedback.
Unfortunately, despite knowing about my ADHD & dyslexia, the feedback was centred around that. So, despite saying on the job page that they accommodate for those kinds of things, they do not.
Also to point out, the feedback shows that they want you to be very good at the job (specifically calling customers) from the beginning. However, it was pointed out in the interview that I didn't need to be perfect at that as they provide 8-12 weeks of training around this. So, therefore, feels a bit contradicting.

When have you changed the way you have done something based on feedback from a customer or colleague?
Two-on-one interview over Microsoft Teams. Interview in 3 parts: a chat about the position, role play of a telephone call, formal questions. Seemed nice enough folks, talk of “generous benefits” without being specific.

Can you describe a time you saw something you didn’t like, and how you responded
It was a general discussion and introduction followed by question answers. There were about 7 questions they ask you to answer with examples either from your previous work experience or from your wild imagination.
