Had an interview on the 20th August 2018 for a part-time customer assistant role. Before I was invited into the interview room, I was given a sheet of potential questions by the interviewer and had a few minutes to prepare my answers. The interview took place in a small office room. I was interviewed by one person whilst the other took notes. It was quite informal and staff were friendly and welcoming. There were no shop floor activities, just interview questions. Unfortunately due to nerves, I did not give my best answers and in hindsight the questions asked were actually quite easy compared to other retail job interviews! My advice is to take time to prepare a few answers, dress casual smart, tidy & clean, be friendly and try not to let nerves stop you from giving a good interview. I could have kicked myself afterwards as I knew I hadn't given my 100%.
