After a total of four (4) interviews, with the last being a face-to-face with a half dozen different employees over a full day’s schedule, I still have received no word on my status for the role. I have contacted ICE Recruiting and was told she was waiting on update. Another week goes by, and still no word. Because I am curious as to what’s going on, I also followed up with two gentleman from initial calls and face-to-face, and still no reply. It has been nearly two months since first phone call. The void of any communication, yay or nay, is very concerning and disappointing. To make matters more complex, I have also not yet been reimbursed for travel costs. Is this the new age of recruiting & job search? A void of courtesy, feedback, or decision?
