It was a straight forward process in a relaxed and friendly environment. Quick and clear communication from the HR department with interviews through both HR and department managers. Hearing back about their decision took a bit of time but from there the hiring and training process was swift.

Very personable interviewing manager. Informed me of how the Belk atmosphere is like family. Most full time associates have worked at Belk for many years. Benefits begin immediately ,(There is no 90 day waiting period).

I applied online. they called be about 3 or 4 weeks later for an interview. my interviewer was friendly and after she asked me questions and roleplayed a sale, she took me and showed me around the store and in the back stock room. Very professional but friendly.
