I interviewed with two different best buys. The interviewer have interview papers that one read one did not. Both interview used two different tactics to gage the type of person you are and how you will fit into the work culture. If you lucky you will have another interview with the general manager because the interview process is a two part process. The interviews were pretty cool and they do give you feed back to improve your chances of being hired

I applied using Best Buys online application system and got a call back the next day. My advice for filling out the application is to pick the answers that are about you, but also that they would like to see. Secondly, make sure you remember what you answered on all the questions because they ask them more than once, or similar questions, to see if you pick the same choice or close to it. Obviously they're trying to make sure you fit a certain criteria they are looking for. I interviewed with 2 of the supervisors, both were really cool and relaxed. The questions were focused on selling strategies, such as "what would you recommend a customer looking for such and such product." and "aside from the product, what else would you recommend to the customer?(accessories and protection plan). They let me know that I was hired on the spot and followed up with the hiring paperwork and drug test and stuff.
