Phone interview followed by an in person interview. Phone interview with head of company, in person interview with other employees and department heads. They were courteous and did a good job of explaining the position and the responsibilities.

Over the years I have been on both sides of the interviewing table. When I had my first interview with Bridgeway's president, I found it refreshing. The majority of conversation was centered around him getting to know me beyond my resume. Of course, it was a give and take conversation where I learned about him, as well. The point of a first interview is to learn about the company's culture and see if your personality is compatible and this conversation did just that. At no point did I feel belittled, if anything it felt like I was talking to a friend. I would definitely recommend interviewing with this company. Even if you don't get an offer, it is nice to seeing a refreshing take on the interview process and get some advice from a true professional.

There weren't any difficult questions, it was simply open dialogue.

First off, job ad was different than actual position. Current president conducted phone interview. He was very rude and unprofessional. Job description was not given when requested, he belittled my personal interests, and used the interview as an opportunity to brag about himself.
He also talked about how he liked the candidate that interviewed before me better than other ones. Very unprofessional. I would stay away at all costs.
This will be a short one. This interview was for one of the positions for which we would consider a recent college graduate. This interviewee was unprepared for the call. In an effort to offer some constructive feedback (I am a Headhunter after all) I explained what the interviewee before her did to prepare for the call and what I appreciated about it. It could have helped her to interview better with future opportunities as we would pass based on this meeting. Instead, it taught me a lesson that I can't offer constructive feedback because today's recent college graduate may not accept it well and can put poor reviews up in a public arena.
