I had an initial phone screening with an internal recruiter, who was probably the best I had dealt with. I got a good initial impression of the company based on this, but ended up having a bad experience during the next interview. It was honestly the worst interview that I've had out of the over two dozen I've had in my career; not due to the difficulty, but instead because of the behavior of one of the senior engineers interviewing me. I genuinely wanted to rescind my candidacy afterward, despite not having any offers at the time.
The technical itself was not particularly difficult. For the most part, they didn't focus on trivia questions on tech stacks, but rather how you approached solving problems in a real world environment. I appreciated this aspect of the technical.
It started going south when I was struggling on a technical question relating to CI/CD. I gave my best educated guesses, explaining my thought process, but the interviewer became increasingly agitated until visibly angry with me for not being able to answer the question to his satisfaction. This continued on for several more questions. When I asked questions of my own, I was generally criticized about them. Being told a question was "loaded" and so on.
My final take? Do not accept a software job here unless you're desperate - which given the current market, is increasingly likely. Maybe I got a grumpy engineer, I don't know. Perhaps the other locations are more professional.

I applied through a recruiting agency. The recruiter was very nice, but he was not from CAMP Systems. The interview itself felt somewhat unorganized. It seemed like the interviewers were coming up with questions on the spot, potentially using AI assistance. I noticed pauses where they appeared to be typing or looking up what question to ask next.
When I asked for clarification on some questions, they struggled to explain or rephrase them. Later, when I was honest and said I did not know the answer and asked if they could explain it, it seemed like they were looking up the answer in real time.
This created a poor experience because interviews should evaluate knowledge and communication, but they should also allow candidates to learn from experienced interviewers. If interviewers cannot explain their own questions or provide clear follow-up discussions, it makes the process feel less structured and less valuable for both sides.

The interview process is very bad. We give the interview but later on there will be no reply from the HR. Communication is very bad on their end .They should take sometime to inform the applicants if they try to get to know the results.
