I have faced very bad experience with CGI. I was applied for Java developer, I got a call letter. I went for interview on mentioned date. I reach by afternoon when I met the contact person, he simply told like we are looking for minimum 3 years experience. Then I argued with him, then why did send me the call letter. He simply said, I don't aware of that you check with HR. Later he told me to attend the Java full stack developer role interview which was contacted by different team. As I have some experience in Angular 4, I said ok and attended the interview. Usually if you go for walk-ins then you should have patient always. I was waited around 3 hours simply.
First round: Basic Java and angular questions
Second round : Medium level
Third round : HR round
I got selected and HR told like I will get an offer letter in one week. I got a link in two three days to submit basic details, documents and I have submitted all the documents before deadline. I waited for a week and contacted them, I got response like we will get back to you. Second week gone again same reply, third week gone again same reply. On this point I lost my patience and then I questioned HR. He told I need to attend one more round and need to clear that which is project specific interview. Again I attended the interview which is telephonic, I have answered 70-80% of questions but I didn't get any response. After one week they called me and asked my availability for next round. Even I performed good in that. Then again the HR said I will get back to but haven't receive any response after that. I stopped to follow up with CGI.
My kind request to recruitment team, don't treat the candidate like anything, candidate spend more time to prepare and travel to attend interview.
The interview process consisted of three rounds: an initial discussion with the recruiter, a high-level cloud system design round (just to see how well you can present your ideas), and a relatively easy data structures and algorithms round conducted by a director.
2 rounds virtual and 1 face to face discussion. 1 client round. If you are not select for one client they might chance to send your profile to another client.

The interview process was tedious, involving multiple online rounds. It felt like they were interviewing the job itself rather than the candidate, with repetitive questions and little meaningful interaction or clarity.
