I had seven interviews via Zoom, and each was designated a 30 minute time slot. Calix was very flexible about how the interviews were scheduled. I was quite nervous as I had not previously interviewed with a company this size. However, every person I interviewed with was courteous, professional, down-to-earth, and made me feel at ease. Instead of grilling me and putting me on the spot with test-like questions, each of my interviews felt more like a conversation to get to know one another and understand my personality, work ethic, and experience level. There was a brief technical quiz, but it had reasonable questions intended to gauge expertise level and compare candidates' knowledge, and was not designed to be tricky.
