After I submitted my resume, I was contacted by a recruiter and asked to schedule a phone screen. After the phone screen, I was asked to complete an online assessment consisting of a math test, reading comprehension test, and a workplace personality test. The recruiter called a few days after completion to tell me that I passed and set up an on site interview. The on site interview was in McLean, VA, and CO paid for all of my travel. There were two behavioral interviews and two case interviews followed by lunch.
The office is a country club, with free on site health care, a kind of outdated fitness center, and a well stocked cafeteria. The culture is very corporate and everyone is exceptionally analytic. Seems like a nice place to work.
I killed myself prepping for the online assessments and interview, and it was largely a waste of time - even if I had received an offer. The online test is worth studying for, since there are so many practice tests available. The math is mainly interpretation of charts and graphs. The behavioral interviews are three questions each, and you'll get a few follow ups questions. The case interviews are focused mainly on profitability and breakeven calculations. These are numbers cases, not strategy; however, be prepared to engage your caser in the qualitative elements of raising revenues or lowering costs.
