Entrevista
I applied through the online portal. After passing the initial HR screening, a department member called me to schedule two back-to-back interviews with a would-be co-worker and the Executive I would be supporting at 30 minutes each. The interviewing was a pleasant enough process, but the portal required extensive references (four or five if I recall) and required those references to complete surveys. As an EA, our references are often extremely busy C-Suite executives who have limited time. I wish I had not gone to the trouble of using their time and wasting an "ask" to have them fill out these surveys so early on in the process. I understand doing something like this if it's much later on and they have a good intention of hiring you - but it's unrealistic to expect references to complete surveys for every position you apply for...
