Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Centene em mai. de 2022
Entrevista
I applied online at the beginning of May and received a call 2 weeks later from HR. They scheduled me to speak with the hiring manager a week later. The day of the interview I was asked if I could reschedule it until the beginning of the next week because of some issues on their end which I did. Hiring manager was great to speak with and it was more conversational in nature. He stressed how critical this role was and how he wanted to fill the vacancy by the end of June/beginning of July at the latest due to the seasonality of their business. He also commented how he could tell I know what I am talking about when it comes to the job.
The final step was speaking to a peer that currently does the same job but for another part of the business. He was nice, as well, and told me how there were 2 vacancies and he was only speaking to 2 people so this wasn't some test, etc. for me. It was more for me to learn more about the real expectations and day to day of the role. I was given explicit details of how it would take HR a week to get me an offer, another 1-2 weeks for the background and 4-5 weeks for technology (i.e. laptop, etc.).
Up to this point I was impressed with the efficiency of the process. I recall the hiring manager specifically saying how he didn't find it necessary to parade me in front of a bunch of other people that don't really know what I do anyway which is why I would only be speaking with the peer. This is where it falls apart.
Things went silent so I started following up and the recruiter would get back to me either the same day or the next day with things like "I haven't heard from the hiring manager" (Isn't that your job? I am clearly asking you to follow-up so you can hear something and relay it to me) or thanking me for my patience and how she hopes to have an update in the next few days (that is the most popular response). I even sent an email to the hiring manager and never heard anything. Anyway, after 2 months of this nonsense, it's now been about 2 weeks (almost mid-July) since the last message saying I should hear something in a few days and nothing has happened. I noticed they reposted the job but why not just decline me and move on? Do they think it is right string people along? At this point, if they do offer me the job I will accept it and then string them along when it comes to filling out their new hire paperwork, completing background check info, etc. and will wait until the start date to tell them I already accepted another role. Perhaps they will learn how it isn't wise to waste people's time.

Entrevista
The interview Process was straightforward. There were Some delays with the talent team in getting things scheduled. Everyone was polite and friendly. It wasn’t the speediest process but it was not overly difficult.
