Submitted my resume online. Received an email from the HR recruiter to set up a phone screen. We selected a time. The HR recruiter did not call in to the phone screen. I tried calling and emailing based on their email signature to no avail. This was on a Wednesday. I heard back the following Monday only that they were sorry they couldnt make it and could we set up another time. I responded with my availability and did not receive a followup email with a time slot nor did I receive a phone call to do the phone screen.

I applied online on the company website. I was first contacted by an HR recruiter by phone. And the recruiter was very professional and told me that I was a person of interests after his screening and asked if I could visit for an in person interview. I was sent a very detailed email with instructions, such as, where to go and I was given a number of pointers on how to have a successful interview, which I thought was amazing, because already this recruiter had outperformed fortune 100 company recruiters. For example, I was given a list of technical terms and concepts to review and know for the interview. Later, I went to the interview and arrived 5mins ahead of time, signed in and went straight in to interview with one of the managers. Then the manager took me on a tour of the company, which I enjoyed, after giving me the proper PPE. The tour reminded me of some of my technical classes in manufacturing and welding. Many of the workers on the site floor were friendly and someone even told me they liked my tie. Afterwards, I met with the other manager and both of them asked me a number of relevant and appropriate questions concerning my resume, background, and goals for the near future. Later I was informed of their decision about a week later to extend me a full time offer. I was given another week to make a decision. I accepted the offer that was made to me.
