I applied through an employee referral. I was asked to attend a one-on-one interview with a district manager. Not having a local office, he invited me to a local restaurant for the interview. He started by presenting the company and what they do. He said that I could work within a year to get all my licensing - paid for by Combined. He never mentionned chargebacks. Halfway through his presentation he got on the topic of compensation. He said it was all comissions and piece-work. All the expenses required to do the job would be paid out-of-pocket by the employee and could be applied to my income taxes as a home office credit. Then he asked if I wanted to spend a day on the road with a current employee to see if I would be willing to work with the company. I refused, mostly because of poor compensation and because it required expenses to draw in a regular salary..
