Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Common Sense Media.

Felt pretty low stakes. Was mostly tactical and getting to know you questions. Good people, wearing a lot of hats, passionate about their mission. Had one interview with Hiring Manager and one with Recruiter.

Interview process was chaotic and unclear. Was asked for a resume multiple times from different people. Told that I had to meet with the CEO, Jim Steyer. When I arrived for the meeting, he was yelling at various people from his office, which he refers to as 'The West Wing.' He came out and dismissively said he didn't know why anyone had put me on the calendar and why was I meeting with him. Asked questions about where I went to school that seemed inquisitive, but ultimately came off feeling judgmental and rude. Threw a lot of names around of famous people he knew. For someone who claims to be a life-long children's advocate, the way he treated those around him in the office in the few minutes I saw seemed like he's certainly not an adult advocate. I was really surprised to see the caliber of resumes and backgrounds for staff at the organization who work closely with him. Maybe it's not like that day to day, but if you wouldn't put your best foot forward for someone you've never met, what does that say about the daily grind?

Where did you go to high school? (weird question for a director level role)
