First round was a basic phone screen where they informed me that having 3 references from people who have evaluated my performance was required. As a recent graduate who has only been employed under one company (who I am currently with), going to ask my boss as well as two other managers above me to be a reference for a different job, would be crazy and end my career with my current company. This was explained to the recruiter who said there is no flexibility and that it is a requirement even though this was not mentioned in the job description anywhere. I made it to the 2nd round of the interview with the value stream manager and never heard back from Crane after finishing the 2nd round interview. I was excited about potentially working for Crane however I will not be applying again due to my experience.
