I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with my experience interviewing with Crunchyroll. I applied for a position with them and after going through multiple rounds of interviews, I reached the final round. However, during the final interview, I was informed that they had recently conducted a massive layoff and let go of several employees without any prior notice, which I found to be downright cruel. When I asked who was responsible for the layoffs, the interviewer went silent and refused to provide me with any information. Following the interview, I was promptly ghosted and never heard back from them again. This was very disappointing, especially after putting in a significant amount of time and effort into the interview process. I believe that the treatment I received was unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope that in the future, Crunchyroll takes steps to ensure that they treat all job applicants with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

The interview went through 6 stages, 1hr+ each, it was very strange that the gap between the first and the second one was more than a month, and the there was a 1,2 weeks difference between the others. They had me waiting a week after the last interview to call me and tell that they picked someone else from another country, thanks for letting me know at least. They seemed to be really nice guys, but the interviews process may take up 2-3 months and you will still get nothing.
