Overall I am very satisfied and happy with interview process. HR was excellent and she was quick. She got all the process done on time and without any problem. If you are good, and if you do your home work and prepare well. The job will be yours.
HR called asked some questions related to the job like why am I leaving the current job? Salary? What is my expectation? Why did I apply for the job? Availability? Visa details? Skills that will match the job?
Hiring Manager called and discussed almost everything in the resume(mine is a long resume). Be thorough with every word in your resume and be sure of what you talk and the know your skills well. Have some examples ready for everything in your resume and be clear. Asked questions to the manager and show your involvement to the job and understand the job profile.
Virtual interview with 4 people. 1 HR 1 Hiring Manager 1 Team lead 1 Product Director. Complete "SITUATIONAL/BEHAVIORAL QUESTIONS". Just google situation questions and you will get the full list. Prepare well with answers and make sure you have example for almost every question and try to quote the example from your recent experience. Professional example is better and the answers should have technical details included in it. Be thorough with 6 Sigma and other standard processes.
Onsite- Community tour and offered the job verbally and received an official offer in few hours.
Hope this helps... Please post your questions if you have any, I will try to help

Interviewed for two concurrent roles on the Electronic Systems team — Controls and Hardware Diagnostics. Both rounds were conversational and well-organized. Interviewers were technically strong and genuinely interested in your background rather than running through a checklist.
The behavioral round was STAR-format focused — expect questions around problem-solving, handling setbacks, and cross-functional collaboration. The technical round touched on embedded systems, hardware design, and diagnostics fundamentals. No curveballs, just solid depth.
What stood out: interviewers took time to explain what the team actually works on, which made it easy to assess fit honestly. Timeline and communication were clear throughout.
Tips: Know your projects cold, be ready to go deep on technical tradeoffs, and come with real questions about the team's work. Cummins seems to value engineers who can own problems end-to-end.

I was able to connect with a recruiter through a conference I attended and I did my first interview there. The interview process is a little different from other companies. I had two interviews: Behavioral and functional. There were no technical questions or a technical interview.
