I applied for the Structural Engineer position they advertised on the firm's website. The interview consisted of a panel of the HR person and the head of the structural engineering department. i was asked about my previous experience. I felt I would be a fit for this firm because I have designed all building types. During the interview, I was constantly being told the firm had to turn down work because they claimed they did not have the manpower to work on some of the projects. I felt this was a win-win situation for them. In the end, the position did not even exist even though the firm stated this on their website. DES claimed they had to reassess their needs. This was a complete waste of time. I can only imagine how they treat their clients. They are Dumb Engineering Stupidists indeed!
