I went through a 1.5-month interview process with a company called Damas for a new role in their e-commerce department. The interview was conducted in stages, and they extended the process for the entire duration, all while giving me high hopes. After about three weeks of being ghosted, they made an offer that was significantly lower than the initial budget they had discussed. Despite this, I decided to proceed, turning down another offer in the process. They assured me the offer letter would be sent soon. Fortunately, I hadn’t yet discussed my career move with my current boss, but the next morning, I was informed by the HR team that they were no longer moving forward with the hiring process for the position. This was incredibly disappointing. Ultimately, I ended up with nothing—just the first offer I had rejected and then this situation, where they weren’t even sure they wanted to hire for the position. To have someone’s time blocked for so long, give them false hope, offer something that’s easily turned down, and then back out entirely—it felt like a nightmare

The interview process happened twice which was unplanned.
All the rounds which were 4, went really well and everyone was happy.
It was very happy and interactive yet due to internal reasons, I lost the offer to an internal transfer.
Overall good, first a telephone interview, then a small panel interview with designated persons & HR. Overall its a nice experience and interview really showcase the quality of the company and its standards.
