I received a phone call from the person that I was actually supposed to interview with. That was good. I went in 2 days after that to meet that person. I thought that the interview went well until it was said that I didnt have enough experience, but that I would fit in great with a couple of other positions that were "coming up in a few months". There was a phone call, set up "testing" for the next day. I went to the "testing", spend about 3 hours in a trailer with a very nice person. During the "testing", I overheard a phone conversation that I was wonderful and would be a great asset to the company for either purchasing or project coordinator. I was thrilled when I was given the person's cell and email to get in touch if I hadn't heard from the other person. I thought that I was "in". The next week, of course, I hadn't heard from anyone, so I emailed both people to see if I had any position... nothing. No return calls or emails even though I specifically asked if they would contact me with a yes or no. I was told that yes I would here one way or the other. Nothing. I would have loved any of the positions and worked for them proudly. Very dissappointed.

I was hired as a Sales Associate after about a six month interview process. I've seen an effort for a better candidate experience in the last year or so that hopefully will speed the process up as it is not feasible for everyone. I'm so glad I was patient- I've loved working here and don't plan to leave.

I enjoyed the interview process very much. Though it was lengthy, you can tell their management cares deeply about hiring the right people. The interview process was very thorough and consisted of a screening interview, personality assessment, background check and IQ assessment.

How would you assuage a persistent buyer who always asks for more?

Long and extensive interview process including multiple assessments. Prior to my first interview, I had to complete a Berke personality assessment authorize a background check. After I had my first interview with one of the Project Managers, I was asked to take the Wonderlic assessment. I was then told a week later from their talent acquisition team there were no openings available within a 45-minute commute (they value distance and driving which I can respect), but they would keep my information on file if there will be a future opening. Fast forward 2 months later, I received an email to speak with a different project manager for a potential opening. After speaking with that PM, I heard back after 2 weeks and they wanted to have a second follow-up interview with another project manager in the nearby area. After waiting an additional two weeks after that interview, I was told they went with another candidate, but would keep my info on file for the next 90 days should another opening pop up. I asked for feedback after a long 4-month candidate experience and did not receive a response.
They are very respectful and it seems like a great organization to be a part of. I would just keep in mind if you plan on interviewing to understand they go at their pace and you can go for a while without hearing any updates from them.
