Great interviewers, but shockingly unprofessional HR process
The interview process for a strategy role at Dell Technologies Singapore consisted of two formal rounds and an additional conversation with a senior leader. The interviewers themselves were genuinely professional, friendly, and made the discussions engaging. The overall interview experience was positive and gave the impression of a respectful and well-run organization.
Unfortunately, that impression completely fell apart due to the HR experience. After completing all the rounds, HR failed to communicate any decision. Despite three polite follow-ups over several weeks, I received no response. It was only after I reached out directly to one of the interviewers that HR finally replied—without even acknowledging the delay or lack of communication.
This level of disorganization and disregard for candidates is unacceptable for a company of Dell’s scale. It felt dismissive and inhumane to be ignored after investing significant time and effort in the process. Candidates deserve basic respect and transparency, especially after completing multiple interview rounds.
