In my previous role, I was tasked with identifying the reasons behind a decline in email campaign engagement. I began by gathering data on key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and bounce rates over the past six months. Using Excel and SQL, I segmented the data by audience demographics, time of send, and subject line to pinpoint trends. I discovered that engagement was lower for certain customer segments, especially when emails were sent on Mondays.
