My current employer is a tier 1-3 supplier to several key accounts in the automotive industry. When General Motors employees went on strike, it brought revenue from those key accounts to a screeching halt. Despite the challenge which created a significant loss in revenue, our offices were able to rally and overcome a significant deficit. This resilience and leadership by the executive team, management, and business development teams served as a marquee example for how to overcome obstacles and difficult situations.
