I don't know how to shard a database, but that's actually not a smart move for such a small database like the one at Blue Bird. They also asked how I would structure their server relationship but without knowing more about the structure I couldn't really answer that. And they asked if I can minify JS manually (no generator or plugins). Odd questions in general.
