I received a brief phone call to confirm interest and discuss the role very briefly and coordinate a time to come in to talk. That was followed by an in-person interview a few days later in the store (store's office) with the store's manager.

I don't recall the exact phrasing, but they were what you might expect. We discussed background, similar experience, and then a few job-specific, experience-related questions (e.g. have you operated a cash register before?).

Interview was too easy. Interviewer did not give me all of the details about the position. Interviewer let me know the top pay and they wanted me right away but the hiring supervisor asked her to get me to take a very low number for this role.

The interview process was professional, The store manager seemed nice. I though this would be a decent place to work. After being offered the job and accepting. The District Manager instead fill the position with his own applicant without ever notifying me.
