The interview process was quite extensive, requiring significant time and effort. I was asked to prepare a five page case study tailored to their business, along with a formal presentation. After several stages, they scheduled a final interview, during which I was to present my case study over the course of an hour and a half.
This final session was with the company’s co-founders, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Their demeanor was highly unprofessional—one of them appeared visibly distracted, avoiding eye contact and focusing on something else on his computer for most of the session. The only time he addressed me directly was to make a disparaging remark about my personal interest in reading, which I had shared in response to a question about hobbies.
Given the lack of respect and professionalism I encountered, I would not consider pursuing an opportunity with this organization in the future.

The process interview with dotCMS was a great experience and so quickly I had the opportunity to talk with the team about the company, the product and the culture values.
The first step was a short interview with the recruiter to know about my experience and expectations, then I had a technical interview with the team to talk about my experience with Angular, the design system, and the challenges I faced in my previous job, then I had a code challenge to show my skills, finally I had the last cultural fit interview where most of the questions were about the values and how I could represent those values in the day to day, the philosophy for new member is dotCMS is "Right Person, Right Seat".

Initial Call with the Recruiter: The process started with a phone call with the recruiter, where we discussed my experience, background, and qualifications. It was an opportunity for them to understand my skills and see how they align with the role.
Interview with Direct Manager: Next, I had a conversation with my potential direct manager. In this call, I learned more about the company, its culture, and the specific responsibilities of the position. It was also a great chance for me to ask questions about the team and daily tasks.
Technical Interview with Direct Manager and Support Team Member: In this step, I participated in a technical interview with the direct manager and a support team member. This interview focused on assessing my technical skills and how I solve problems relevant to the role.
Final Interview with Team Leader and HR: The process wrapped up with a call involving the team leader and someone from HR. This stage was about evaluating my fit with the team, discussing the company's values, and clarifying any remaining questions I had about the role, benefits, and expectations.
