They wanted to hire an intern for the ML role, and the interview went fine. They liked my previous work, and I mentioned what different tools, and systems we could use/integrate for our use. It was preety good until they brought up the salary, which was lower than the market. And they felt good about themselves, for paying for an internship to begin with and countered how interns don't get paid many times. I never received a response after the interview.
