Not a pleasant interview process: Their follow up took too much and needed some pressure from my end to get responses. First technical interview was ok, the second technical interview was quite weird since interviewers were misaligned, they did not have the same approach for the position and their job expectations, and all of them seemed to be quite unfamiliar with the specifics on embedded systems , so the questions were strange and shallow, besides all points to they are not seeking for an Engineering Manager but more like a customer support or field Engineer anyway, their questions were not focused to get valuable technical knowledge information from me. First interview was recorded, not sure if this is legal but at least uncomfortable and could be perceived as a discriminatory practice based on other illegal screening parameters than experience and skills. After all interviews the outcome was that they got a lot onf interest on me but at the end no offer came up. Anyway I had a lot of doubts with this employer, so I would reject an offer in all cases.

Took many tries to get interview schedule due to unavailability of company rep. After we finally got to the interview - they informed me that interview will be recorded. Why? So that team can review my answers and determine if they will review my resume. I stopped them and asked the question again: you have not reviewed my resume and experience but will ask me questions in recorded interview to determine if I fit criteria? Well sounds like way to judge people based on race, sex and age. I politely declined the opportunity and hung up. Shortest interview ever. 3 minutes in total to discover that I don’t want to work here
