I was immediately contacted after I set up a profile on monster.com by an Epic recruiter. Apparently my background fit what they were looking for (I am a recent Biomedical Engineering graduate). I visited their site, liked what I saw, and applied for Quality Assurance.
The process was longer than I thought it would take. To begin with, I had to take a personality test. Then, a few days later, they contacted me and scheduled me for a phone interview. This was really chill, basic questions, I probably didn't need to worry as much as I did. Then they told me I needed to take a skills assessment, but not when. It took a couple of weeks for them to get back to me,but once they did, I scheduled that as soon as possible.
The skills assessment wasn't that bad. You're given a long time limit, but are expected to finish it well before that. They contacted me a few days later saying I passed and that they decided to consider me for the technical services. They scheduled me to fly out for some in person interviews. I was also invited for a dinner with an employee, which I accepted.
The accommodation they provided was nice. The dinner was interesting, but I didn't really learn too much. I learned more on the next day. It was a long day of tours and software demos, but really informational. The atmosphere is really casual, just as advertised. I also met a lot of smart people. I ended the day with an interview with someone in Technical Services and HR. The interviews were not too difficult. Don't stress about it and just be yourself. If you think logically aloud, I found that helped me.
Overall it was a long process, but worth it since I got a job! Good luck.
