The interview process is way too long for an entry level role (6 weeks). There are 5 stages which involve 4 online interviews and one on-site. The interviews weren’t difficult and were all competency & behavioural based. The recruiter that reached out to me after my application, was enthusiastic, friendly and communicated promptly with me throughout the whole process. However, the downfall was the hiring manager’s attitude towards the role who had the tendency to make small comments that were negative, almost like they didn’t like their job very much. The job is advertised as very HR focused but seems to involve a lot of office administration work and tasks such as ‘spell-checking’ the manager’s work. The location is difficult to get to if you’re not based in the city centre (and don’t drive) & their “hybrid” model doesn’t leave much room for flexibility, with one day from home. The salary is quite low for the current market. Overall, an average experience but with many unnecessary stages.
