Recruiter called and we had a very pleasant exchange. Our conversation prompted an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was absolutely terrible. Probably one of the worst interviews I've ever experienced. He communicated that he basically wanted someone else for the position, all but insulted my previous experience and texted on his phone during the interview multiple times. I understand if you don't think I'm a good fit but then please don't bother wasting my time. The overall arrogance of the hiring manager was such a put off. It's amazing to me that this guy thought he was such a professional yet doesn't have basic courtesy... especially when you're trying to build a brand. I'll never apply at any position at Everlywell going forward because the hiring manager is a reflection of upper management.
